Groundwork aims to reduce skills shortages and help individuals reach sustainable employment opportunities, thus reducing unemployment levels and preventing out-migration from the region. Each product developed within the Employment and Training theme provides a step towards that goal. There are very strong links with other theme areas, in particular land and youth.
