Environmental Activity
Providing environmental activities to children using the external environment
Groundbugs and Mini Groundbugs have been
developed by Groundwork to provide informal learning and hands-on
experience to children within their local environment. Arts, crafts
and games including earth art, tree trails and mini beast hunts and
are available to groups of children and their families. They help
aid an appreciation of the natural world and can contribute to
regional bio-diversity action plans by involving young people in
activities that highlight wildlife within a variety of
habitats.
Seasonal activities –
environment-inspired community events and activities that provide
interaction for the whole family.
