Strategic Influence on Land-Usage

Providing strategic influence at a local and sub-regional level on sustainable environmental improvements

Radical change is needed to reverse the decline experienced in the sub-region over the last 30 years. The environmental regeneration of the area is a key element to achieve a high quality sustainable region which links communities and reverses the widening economic and skills gap and the current trend for out-migration. We will work to retain the historical and geological assets of the Black Country whilst creating environments which improve biodiversity.

Groundwork is involved with local and sub-regional partnerships relating to land usage, including the Black Country Consortium, British Waterways, the four local authorities and housing associations.
